TESTIMONIAL: SyncSolve as a Service

I first saw a demo of Continuity at a MUSE conference and was immediately impressed with the user interface and amount of data easily available for users during a downtime.

The solution we used previously was expensive and required us to do all the scripting and report work. Due to a lack of internal resources to do that, we ended up with a solution that provided the bare minimum of downtime support.

ContinuITy’s user interface was so similar to what our staff already use on a normal day that navigating the solution was extremely intuitive to them. Additionally, the Continuity team has been willing to work with us to further optimize the solution. I have several clinical staff on my team who know what nurses and physicians need when the EMR is down, and they’ve been able to share that insight with the extremely bright technical minds at The HCI Solution who, in turn, have been able turn those ideas into reality in our downtime solution.

Staff have access to patient data never before accessible during a downtime, which allows them to provide more informed patient care even without EMR access. We recently switched over to having Continuity be always on – previously the IT department turned it on only when necessary. Having it always on allows for easier training for new staff and allows access to downtime documents that may be necessary even if our EMR isn’t down.

In the end, Continuity has been cost effective while also providing a great value to our organization. No one likes a downtime, but the bitter pill is a little easier to swallow when staff know they have a solution like Continuity.
